| My educational philosophy is
based on the premise that all children can learn and have the right to
develop to their greatest potential. I truly believe that it is my
responsibility to explore and develop those avenues that make that
learning possible. In my classroom I strive to make the content
meaningful through varied teaching techniques and activities that
channel learning through the child’s different intelligences. My daily
lessons incorporate cooperative grouping, problem solving experiences,
usage of manipulatives, and an integration of content areas. I encourage
my students to question, to sort out and analyze information, and to
creatively problem solve because these are lifetime skills that lead to
life-long learning. |
