Catholic Youth Expeditions
2008 Dates: May 23-27; June 1-3; July
13-2 (in Canada); July 12-15; August 3-5.
An exciting new ministry for young people
throughout Wisconsin, CYE started back in 2002, the apostolate
has ministered to hundreds of high school students and young adults through
expedition retreats of prayer, proclamation of the Gospel, and outdoor
adventure. C.Y.E. offers a fun and faith-filled camping experience which
presents the Gospel message as vibrant and alive. This summer we will had 8 expedition retreats on Chamber's Island in Door County as well as a summer
staff of 12 on-fire Catholic college students. For more information:

Prayer and Reflection Retreat— Friday, May 30-Sunday,
June 1— Carmelite Sister Provincial House 1230 Kavanaugh Place,
Milwaukee Cost: Free – Reservations are due by April 27
The Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus are offering a
weekend of prayer and reflection for single Catholic women, ages 18-30
which will enable them to learn more about prayer and especially the
Carmelite life of prayer. The
weekend will include, Mass, Adoration, Liturgy of the Hours, mediation,
the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Confession, spiritual talks, private
prayer, vocation stories, a monastic meal, fun activities, music, and a

Taize Prayer Service - 2nd
Sunday of each Month- 7:00 pm at Carthage College's Seibert Chapel, Kenosha.
The evening includes 45 minutes of prayer in the style of the ecumenical,
monastic community of Taize, France, based on repetitious music, chanting,
centering prayer and quiet meditation. This prayer service is
sponsored by Kenosha Area Young Adult Catholics. (KAYAC).

Tthe 3rd
Monday of each month, 7:00-8:30 pm. Scripture Discussion: 8:30
pm Social St. Catherine Hospital Atrium/Chapel, 9555 96th St. (off Hwy 50)
Kenosha. This event is sponsored by Kenosha Area Young Adult Catholics(KAYAC). We gather once per month to break open and discuss
the upcoming week's Gospel in an informal, yet informative setting.
Following the discussion, we go out to a local restaurant for a social
outing. We usually go to a different restaurant each month, so feel
free to email us to find out where we plan to go if you only wish to attend
the social and not the scripture discussion.

Roots of Faith: “Always Growing Toward God”—The 4th Sunday of Each Month – 1:00-2:30 pm. Even months @
St. Therese Church 2020 91st St., Kenosha. Odd months @ St. Mark’s Strenski Center 74th St & Sheridan Rd, Kenosha. “Roots of Faith:
Always Growing Toward God” is an ongoing, monthly opportunity for young
adults to continue learning about the rich Catholic faith tradition.
A different topic is presented each month. A Young Adult
discussion follows the session at a local coffee shop/restaurant to
discuss the theme presented. For more information on both events,

Kenosha Area Young Adult Catholics (KAYAC) members meet one Saturday a
month to socialize while sampling wines available for purchase.
The tastings are free to the public, except for a few times per year

TOT Core Team
Coming soon (in July). We will be having another round of
Theology on Tap for all Young Adults 21 and over. We are looking for people
now to be on the planning core team.
Young Adults Catholic Connection
Sponsored by the area parishes and located at St. John Vianney, this group for
single young adults offers social events, educational offerings, and
spiritual programs. Anyone 21-40 years old, single or married without children is welcome to join. YACC
invites prospective members to join us at the following activities:

TYME OUT Youth Center Camps and Summer Employment
This summer, TYME OUT Youth Center will provide a variety of
one week camps for middle school students. This summer’s specialty focus
areas include: art, soccer, leadership, dance, theatre, praise &
worship music/choir, stewardship, creative writing, and Brainbusters. We
hire a team of creative and dedicated teachers and coaches to facilitate the
specialty area of each week. A group of caring and energetic Camp Staff are
also hired to provide the camp fun and supervision of the campers. If you
