The Saint Dominic Youth Choir welcomes children
in grades three through six into the joy and art of singing.
In addition to thorough training in the skills of music reading,
the children are formed in the habits of common prayer and
liturgical spirituality through music. Children in the
Youth Choir will follow the Voice for Life chorister's training
program of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM), progressing
through four levels of skill and formation during their years in
the choir.
Youth Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings during
the regular school year, and ordinarily sings for the 9:00 a.m.
Mass on the first weekend of the month. Rehearsals take
place on scheduled Sunday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. (or after
the 9:00 a.m. Mass) to 10:50 a.m. in the school Music Room.
