To seek Christ, Know Christ and Become Christ, each one for the sake of all

Teen Choir - Environment & Decorum

All our rehearsals take place in the school Music Room. We are guests in this room. Therefore, it has always been our policy to leave the room cleaner than it was before we used it. It is given that we respect the property in the room in which we are guests.

Your behavior in church must be reverent and beyond reproach. Bless yourself with holy water and genuflect before the Blessed Sacrament upon entering and leaving the church. Keep in mind that the placement of the choir is in direct line of sight of most of the congregation. When not singing, it is expected that you be attentive and prayerful, fully participating in the spoken parts of the Mass, and maintaining a spirit of interior prayer at the other parts, particularly during the Consecration and Elevation. As with the Music Room, we are expected to leave the music area of the church cleaner than it was before we used it.

Please remember that we stick around to sing the blessing for one another at the conclusion of every rehearsal and every assignment. If your poor director forgets this, remind him; it’s important.

If you feel it necessary, bottled water may be brought to rehearsals, but no bottled water may be brought into the church.
