The success of the choir's ministry depends on your faithful and
regular commitment to the rehearsal and liturgy schedule as
printed (see your Handbook or click "Choir Schedule" on the
left). With your diligence, all rehearsals will start and
conclude at the times listed on the schedule. To assist in
providing the best possible atmosphere for productive and
rewarding rehearsals, you're advised to arrive just a bit early
to get yourself settled and your music in order so that you're
ready to begin rehearsal in a clear, focused manner.
Regular attention to this is critical to the success of our very
important work, and you'll find that it really enhances your
enjoyment of each rehearsal. Attendance is essential
at all Sunday afternoon and pre-Mass rehearsals, and your
presence is expected at all liturgical services for which
the choir is scheduled. Your presence at each rehearsal is
necessary for developing note security, good choral blend, and
the musicianship required for the best execution of the pieces
in the choir's repertoire. Besides, we just plain miss you
if you're not here with the rest of us!
If, in the event
of an emergency, illness, or legitimate conflict, you must
be absent, please notify the
Music Office
and/or (262) 781-3480 Ext. 240 as soon as possible. Every
member of this choir is important, and each absence affects the
choir's ability to perform its ministry at the highest musical
and spiritual level. |
