The technology committee always welcomes new participants and generally meets the third Wednesday of the month to discuss parish-wide technology issues. If you have an interest please contact a committee member listed below.

• The mission of the St. Dominic Parish Technology Committee is to provide the technological environment necessary to enhance all ministries within St. Dominic Parish.

• The purpose of the committee is to initiate and maintain an interactive ministry that provides capabilities in information gathering and information production while offering continuing opportunities for skill reinforcement.

• The objectives of the committee shall be to explore, evaluate, implement, monitor, and support new and existing technology throughout the parish in consultation with the technology standards of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

• Whereas technology is often thought to be limited to computers and computer technology, the technology mission of St. Dominic is much broader; supporting the entire technology infrastructure and environment. This includes the Computer Local Area network, telecommunications, copiers and printing capabilities, technology in the support of education in both the day school and various other educational missions of the parish.

• The technology committee is committed to the strategic needs of St. Dominic congregation. We as a committee try to be proactive and anticipate what current and emerging trends are in technology, and how to best apply these technologies to the parish.

• The technology committee is committed to supporting all ministries and administrative functions of the parish as well as any groups and activities that need help.

• The technology committee is committed to the tactical needs of the Parish. Tactical needs include day-to-day activities, special projects, and addressing specific needs.

• The parish contracts with Educators Technology Alliance to provide on-site hardware and software support for our computers and servers, preventative maintenance, and general consulting. This service has greatly enhanced the reliability and availability of the computer network
