Auction
The Annual St. Dominic Dinner Auction is held biannually on even years. It
is a night of magic and memories for the benefit of St. Dominic Catholic Parish.
Building and Grounds
Oversees the maintenance and strategic planning of
the parish facilities.
Cemetery
Committee
The cemetery committee works in partnership with parish staff to oversee the
ongoing care of our parish cemetery at the intersection of Lisbon and Marcy
Roads.
Endowment
We have a parish endowment fund dedicated solely towards the furtherance of
Catholic education here at St. Dominic’s. Catholic education includes both our
day school and Lifelong Faith Formation programs.
Festival/Dominic Days
Yearly social event with Food, Games, Entertainment, Car Rally, Golf Outing,
Steeplechase Run/Walk, Outdoor Mass, Sheepshead Tournament and Raffle Prizes.

Finance
Provides the St. Dominic Parish with long term financial stability
and appropriately guides the daily parish operations.
Human Concerns
Committee
This committee oversees all aspects of human concerns and outreach for our
parish. The committee gives direction and vision to parish activities and is the
main decision making body.
Human Resources
The Human Resources Committee provides human resource policy guidance and
assistance to the pastor and administrative management of the parish.
Marketing Committee
Assists the parish in providing effective communications systems to connect
parishioners and to evangelize within the community. This committee
is involved in publicity, promotions, parish print and online publications
including the website.
Prayer and
Worship Committee
The committee coordinates the practice of and activities related to celebrating
the mysteries of our faith in the communal worship. It also provides overall
direction of the spiritual and liturgical life of the parish and oversees the
liturgical ministries and coordinates the celebration of the liturgical
calendar.
School Board
The School Board develops and defines the policies that govern the school.
The development and definition of school policies, long range planning for the
school, and budget recommendation are areas of responsibility assumed by the
Board. The School Board’s mission is to work cooperatively to provide
vision and leadership within the school community. This vision and leadership
should consider and balance the concerns and beliefs of parents, teachers,
staff, students, and Parish Council. Meetings are open to the St. Dominic
community.
Stewardship
The stewardship committee assists with the annual Time and Talent and
Treasure appeals. Throughout the year the committee encourages
parishioner involvement in service to the parish, the community and in outreach.
Strategic Planning
In 2006 Parish Council commissioned the Vision 2012 project to develop a set of
strategies for our parish over the next five years. More information
including the 12 Visions for our parish are available.
Technology
The mission of the St. Dominic Parish Technology Committee is to provide
the technological environment necessary to enhance all ministries within St.
Dominic Parish. The technology committee is committed to supporting all ministries and
administrative functions of the parish as well as any committees and groups
that need assistance.
