The Human Resource Committee was formed about fifteen years ago to provide human resource policy guidance and assistance to the pastor and administrative management of the parish. The areas and issues of primary focus and activity for the Committee have included the following:

• Employee Handbook development and review

• Employment and selection process

• Employee compensation and benefits

• Organization design and communications

• Performance management and employee development

The Human Resource Committee is made up of volunteer parishioners who bring a variety of general administrative and human resource management experience to this assignment. These committee members are joined by the pastor and the business administrator of the parish. The principal objective of the Committees' work is to position the parish (through effective human resource policies and programming) to be able to attract and retain high quality professional employees as employment opportunities occur.
